Email Notifications

Hi,

I've disabled email notifications for Watched Threads in my preferences but I still receive emails. Is there something I'm missing? Is there a delay in these settings being changed in the system?

You have to unwatch threads, too. We’ve got a thread on the Destructoid forums explaining how to do it, and I might copy/paste it over to Announcements in here, too.

Regarding Email Notifications

When we first launched the closed test of the Destructoid forums, we got numerous comments from you lovely folks saying that you were still receiving email notifications, despite having opted out of them in the user preferences. Well, the fine and sexy folks working tirelessly on the forum...

Thanks. That's weird. I ended up using the email option of unsubscribing or whatever and that seemed to work while I still get notifications on the site itself which I'm fine with.
