Rumours of the game are getting louder and it seems soon there will be confirmation of the game. Anyone looking forward to it and, what mythology do you want Kratos to go into if he is not continuing his story with his son.

I'm looking forward to the sequel. The main story quests of GOW was simply amazing. I expect another game or two in the Norse Mythos (and maybe, a trip to Mimir's lands) and then, the venture to Egypt. Ironically, Cory Barlog and crew wanted to make the game set in the Egyptian mythos before they settled for the Norse mythos.
I hope they drop the one shot camera. It's cool in terms of the filmic quality of the game but I found it more of a problem in combat. I also want better and unique boss battles (I don't want to fight another 10 reskinned trolls). And please, do not pad the game with Muspelheim-esque waves, and the awful, awful Niflheim grinding for mist echoes. It was a trudge to get the Platinum for the game. I also want to see better side quests. Bring back aerial combat.

i really liked god of war 3's bosses and despite the god of war multiplayer game that came after being criticized, i thought the story mode was ok. Still haven't played the ps4 one but hoping to some day
yeah, god of war ascension for ps3. I didn't really play the multiplayer since I like god of war for its solo story mode. Some people said the story in ascension was mediocre but i thought it was ok. Not as good as 3 but not the worst thing ever
yeah that sounds good, for some reason when you mentioned Egypt I thought of prince of Persia there's no relation but have you played that game?
Solo story mode is the only thing i go for i was never interested in the multiplayer
Ready At Dawn studios (folks who made The Order 1886, Daxter) made the God of War games (Chains of Olympus, Ghost of Sparta).
God of War Ascension had the multiplayer. From what I've read, people found it pretty decent but the single player campaign had a lot of issues -especially regarding certain tweaks they did to combat, poor pacing and balancing.
I really didn't like God of War 3. Game took a tumble for the worst after the Hercules fight. The story was laughably bad. I found it extremely jarring that Kratos suddenly develops an affection for Pandora.
God of War 1 (David Jaffe), God of War 2 (Cory Barlog) and the new God of War on the PS4 (also by Cory Barlog) were great games.

i never played 1 and 2 before playing 3 so i didn't really have anything to compare it to except better graphics. 4 does look a lot better than 3 in terms of both graphics and story so I'll definitely play it one day
